NOTING NATURE
‘Noting Nature’ documents a series of workshops with 2 very different groups: all 10 children from the primary school on the tiny Isle of Iona in the Scottish Hebrides & and members of Entelechy Arts' ‘Meet Me’ group, an arts and social club for lonely or isolated older people, based at The Albany in South London.
Both groups began by asking each other questions, questions about their different experiences of life, the natural world and the communities that surround them. They responded to each other in words and movement.
The video was shown where they were made, at the Antobar and Mull Theatre and the Albany Theatre in London during the summer of 2025. It was also presented downstairs at Battersea Arts Centre during our run of ‘Natural Behaviour’.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that at ever has” Margaret Mead
