We regularly:
-
teach technique classes
-
deliver workshops based on our repertoire and creative methods
-
give lectures about Thick & Tight’s work
The work we make is based in rigorous dance technique and this is reflected in our teaching. We teach Ballet and Cunningham techniques, as well as improvisation and yoga/pilates-based warm-up classes.

We often teach workshops based on our repertoire and creative methods. These are tailored to suit various groups, including professional dancers and other performing artists, students, people aged 60+, community groups and people who have a learning disability.
We give talks and lectures about our company, to open up our creative process, aims and methods, and to give more insight into the background and context of our work.

We have taught classes and workshops for:

-
Northern School of Contemporary Dance
-
Three Score (a company of non-professional dancers aged 60+)
-
Jacksons Lane (for London International Mime Festival)
-
The Lowry
We have given talks and lectures about our work for:

-
Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance (with Corali Dance Company)
-
The Royal Opera House (with Corali Dance Company)
